Do you believe that employee loyalty still exists in today's work environment? How loyal are you as an employee to your company or boss?

The question should be the other way around: how loyal are employers to their employees?? The answer: not at all.
Walkscore.com recently ranked America's most walkable neighborhoods and cities. Where does your hometown land in the rankings? And how much do you actually find yourself walking instead of driving?
Well, folks, Boston is #3 on the list and I can attest to that! I love to walk and hate to drive. I can walk forever and often do. Well, you should know that by now: what with all those little entries about walks here, there and everywhere!
What's your favorite type of cheese? Or, if you don't like cheese, why not?
Submitted by Draegon Scribe.
I'm a fan of stinky cheeses. Give me a good Camembert, open the windows, and watch my face melt with pleasure. Brie is good too, if it's nice and ripe!
What are you most looking forward to this weekend?
Sleep
Tidying Up
A visit to a gallery or a museum, maybe!
Walking in the spring weather, assuming is dries up and warms up
Working on the second Maggie-Della mystery. It's been an age since I've done any writing work on that!
How are you spending Christmas Day?
Quietly, here at my parents' house in Buffalo, New York. My husband and I live in Boston and we drive the 500 mile distance each year.
For Poles, Christmas Eve is the big "do." We'll socialize today, but the traditional meal and present-opening have already happened. That's fine. Today we'll kick back and I'll put together dinner for my folks, my husband and I, my brother and sister-in-law and sister and brother-in-law.
Tomorrow we're traveling to Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario for a Boxing Day celebration. My sister-in-law is Canadian, so we end up with a three-day holiday. Very nice.
What fragrance/cologne do you put on when it's your night out?
Submitted by noiq.
My night out? Usually baby powder or some such thing right before bed. At my age, a night out is literal.
Who do you want to be caught under the mistletoe with this holiday season?
Submitted by An Ebony Epicurean.
Only one person in this wide, wide world: my husband!
What's on your holiday wishlist?
Really?
Okay, then: a new pair of eyes each for two close friends of mine who are blind. Think Santa will grant that?
After all the recent season and series finales, what are you watching on TV these days?
Actually, I'm not watching anything. My "screen" addiction is focused on my computer and not the TV screen. I occasionally tuned into Ugly Betty, Heroes, Studio 60 and CSI. I don't watch enough television to make it a regular habit.
